Staying in Step with Advancements: Hunneman’s Team tackles Life Science, Cleantech and Robotics

The Hunneman team of Executive Vice Presidents Steve James and Jim Boudrot, and Vice President Patrick Grady, boast a wealth of experience in the Greater Boston Commercial Real Estate Market. James and Boudrot, esteemed veterans of the CRE industry, have maintained longstanding tenures at Hunneman, and Grady is approaching his tenth year with the firm.

The team primarily operates in the Greater Boston and Cambridge markets but also is no stranger to national and international tenant representation. Notably, they recently facilitated a significant lease transaction for Azumo, Inc. in Chicago, Illinois; helped a Massachusetts technology company secure a second corporate location in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and are currently conducting large North American site searches for an international medical device company and a clean technology company.

Their specialized focus is assisting tenants find space within the Life Sciences, Cleantech, Medtech, and Robotics sectors. A prime example is the recent procurement of laboratory space at 36 Crosby Drive in Bedford, MA for PharmaEssentia USA Corporation, a valued longtime client. This cutting-edge lab will serve as PharmaEssentia’s Innovation Research Center (PIRC), spearheading research in hematology, oncology, and immunology.

IMG_5720Recent successes in the Cleantech space include AM Batteries, Inc. 33,000 SF headquarters lease at 8 Federal Street in Billerica, MA, and Envision Energy USA’s 30,208 SF H2 Center of Excellence lease at 10 North Avenue in Burlington, MA. AM Batteries, Inc. develops revolutionary technology made to significantly reduce the amount of chemicals, energy, and the overall carbon footprint of the electrode manufacturing process. Envision Energy USA will use the new H2 Center of Excellence facility for their core efforts to further advance green hydrogen energy solutions. Meanwhile, in the Medtech and Robotics sectors, the team is assisting ProTom International with their 29,502 SF R&D facility at 54 Concord Street in North Reading, MA, and recently secured space for Pickle Robot Co. at 425 Medford Street in Charlestown, MA.
