Hunneman Executes Over $27 Million in Q1 Multifamily Sales
Hunneman’s Carl Christie and Dan McGee brokered three sales in central and eastern Massachusetts.
MASSACHUSETTS (May 13, 2025) – Hunneman, New England’s premier, full-service commercial real estate provider, announced that it has completed sale transactions across Massachusetts exceeding $27 million in the first quarter of this year. Hunneman represented the sellers in the transactions of Ridgewood Condominiums in Gardner and of 32 Park Vale Avenue in Allston as well as in the purchase of 376 Boston Turnpike in Shrewsbury, where they represented the buyer.
The three investment sales were brokered by Carl Christie and Dan McGee of Hunneman’s multifamily team. Hunneman represented the sellers in a $4,450,000 sale of 32 Park Vale Avenue in Allston, a three-story brick building located off Brighton Avenue, comprised of eight fully leased units. The team also brokered a $17,325,000 sale on behalf of the seller at the Ridgewood Condominiums in Gardner. Ridgewood Condominiums encompasses 143 units within the garden-style apartment complex close to Dunn State Park and the downtown area.
“Having a firm grasp of opportunities in the local market enabled us to deliver value for our clients and ensured that the recent sales aligned well for all parties,” said Carl Christie, Executive Vice President of Investment Sales and Capital Markets at Hunneman. “The buyers of Ridgewood Condominiums and 32 Park Vale Avenue were able to add excellent properties to their holdings in their respective regions.”
The multifamily team additionally brokered a $5,500,000 sale of 376 Boston Turnpike in Shrewsbury on behalf of the buyer. James Koury with Institutional Property Advisors (IPA) represented the seller. 376 Boston Turnpike is an 8,113 square foot free-standing, single tenant building leased to Town Fair Tire. The purchase came as part of a 1031 exchange after Hunneman successfully completed a $5.3 million sale of an 18-unit apartment building the client previously owned at 1122 Main Street in Waltham.
“It was fantastic to continue our relationship with the buyer, having previously been able to facilitate a successful outcome on their behalf,” said Dan McGee, Vice President of Investment Sales and Capital Markets at Hunneman. “As we continue to work closely with our clients, we are looking forward to upcoming properties hitting the market.”
Over the past three years, Carl Christie and Dan McGee have facilitated the sales of 25 buildings, representing investment properties spanning across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.
