Hunneman Facilitates Closing of Swiss Drug Delivery Device Maker’s First U.S. Manufacturing Facility
Ypsomed buys 160,000 square-foot building in North Carolina with an option for further expansion.

HOLLY SPRINGS, NORTH CAROLINA (February 11, 2026) – Hunneman, New England’s premier, full-service commercial real estate provider, announced that it has facilitated the closing of a new U.S. manufacturing site for Swiss company Ypsomed, a leading developer and manufacturer of injection systems for the self-administration of liquid medication. Located in Holly Springs, North Carolina, the 160,000 square-foot facility will be Ypsomed’s first manufacturing site in North America and includes an option for further expansion.

Ypsomed’s new manufacturing site is located at THE YIELD Holly Springs, a premier life science and innovative manufacturing campus in North Carolina’s Research Triangle. THE YIELD is comprised of a 150-acre campus for manufacturing and nearly two million square feet of biomanufacturing, office, lab, and retail space. Ypsomed’s manufacturing facility, located at Building H of the campus, will supply products for the U.S. market and integrate all phases of the supply chain, spanning research and development, manufacturing, fill/finish, and delivery.
The site plans to begin supplying products in the United States market by the end of 2027. THE YIELD also offers a tremendous expansion opportunity for Ypsomed to grow with adjacent land parcels available

Onsite and adjacent amenities of the facility include a one-acre park, open space walking trails, and accessible retail. THE YIELD Holly Springs is located across from Oakview Commons, providing tenants with direct access to 50,000 square feet of shops and restaurants. The site is also a convenient 20-minute drive from Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
The location is adjacent to corporate neighbors including FujiFilm Biotechnology, CSL Seqirus, and Amgen, and offers proximity to top research universities in the area including Duke University, UNC-Chapel Hill, and NC State.
