Elected officials, veterans, and community partners gather at the organization’s Brighton campus as the nonprofit introduces a unified platform spanning integrated healthcare, housing, and coordinated support.
BOSTON, MA (August 4, 2026) – Brighton Marine Inc., the nonprofit social enterprise that has served veterans and military-connected families for more than four decades through healthcare, housing, and coordinated support, introduced its new organizational identity, BrightonOne, during a ceremony at its campus in Brighton, Massachusetts. The new name reflects an integrated model that brings healthcare, housing, and coordinated support services together under a single, mission-driven framework.
“BrightonOne is the new organizational name for Brighton Marine Inc., but our mission remains unchanged,” said Rosye Cloud, chief executive officer. The name, Cloud said, better reflects a model the organization has spent years building — one grounded in the conviction that healthcare, housing, stability, and opportunity are inseparable, and that the strongest results come when people work as a single team toward a shared purpose.
The unveiling drew a cross-section of state and city leaders, veterans, and longtime community partners. Guests and speakers included former Massachusetts Governor Bill Weld; Massachusetts Secretary of Veterans Services Dr. Eric Goralnick; Boston City Councilor Ed Flynn of District 2; State Representative Kevin Honan; and former Massachusetts Secretary of Veterans Services Dr. Jon Santiago, who now chairs BrightonOne’s newly established National Advisory Board. CEO Rosye Cloud led the program.
Councilor Flynn, himself a veteran, described joining fellow veterans, colleagues in government, and community partners to mark the milestone, noting that while the organization has taken a new name, its decades-long commitment to supporting veterans and military families through healthcare, housing, and hope endures. “New name. Same mission,” he said.
The introduction of BrightonOne coincides with the launch of EverRise, a family of mission-aligned operating entities focused on healthcare, housing, and coordinated support. Among them is EverRise Health, which administers the US Family Health Plan of Southern New England. The organizational changes do not affect member benefits, provider networks, eligibility, or access to care.
"The enthusiasm surrounding BrightonOne's unveiling is a testament to the organization's impact and ambitious vision for the future,” said Peter Evans, Executive Vice President & Managing Principal at Hunneman. “We're proud to represent the leasing efforts at 77 Warren Street and look forward to introducing tenants to a campus that offers not only quality office space, but the opportunity to be part of an organization making a meaningful difference in the community."
The rebrand also reflects an expanding civic footprint. BrightonOne continues to grow its master leasing program, which helps create stable housing for veterans facing barriers to long-term stability, and is extending that model beyond Massachusetts into Groton, Connecticut, while evaluating additional opportunities across Southern New England. The organization recently acquired Promise Pathways, a nonprofit that helps veterans and military-connected individuals build stability, connection, and opportunity through mentorship and transition support; former professional quarterback BJ Coleman will serve as its executive director.
The organization’s Brighton campus, site of the June 18 ceremony, is represented for leasing by Hunneman, the Boston-based, full-service commercial real estate firm that has provided leasing and advisory services across New England since 1929. For the veterans and military families BrightonOne serves, the new identity signals both continuity of a four-decade mission and an expanding platform of healthcare, housing, and support.
