Automata is a U.K. based company specializing in lab automation. The lease encompasses manufacturing/R&D space, and marks Automata's continued expansion in the North American market. This follows the opening of their new headquarters location in Kendall Square – further cementing their presence in the U.S.
Hunneman’s Science & Technology Team - consisting of Executive Vice Presidents Jim Boudrot and Steve James, Vice President Patrick Grady, and Director of Research & Strategy, Mark Fallon, partnered with Automata in their international expansion efforts, ensuring a seamless transition from their headquarters in London.

The Hunneman team has worked with numerous robotics, clean tech, and life science companies in the suburban and downtown markets. Automata was operating on a tight schedule and needed to begin order fulfillment of their rapidly growing customer base in the United States. Hunneman was thrilled to execute their lease in under 3 months from first showing to lease execution.
